October 26th, 2022:
Season 2 of The Mysterious Benedict Society, based on Trenton Lee Stewart’s delightful series of books, returns today with a two-episode premiere. The kids are a year older and have no idea what adventures await them as they receive invitations to a reunion with Mr. Benedict.
The ever-wonderful director James Bobin returns for the premiere, which I edited in addition to episodes 2.04 and 2.07. Marie Lee (Only Murders in the Building, Motherland: Fort Salem), my assistant editor on Season 1, co-edited the premiere with me and as you’ll see is well on her way to a brilliant career. Executive producers Matt Manfredi, Phil Hay, Todd Slavkin, and Darren Swimmer remain in top form, so grab your bucket and be ready for something quite… enjoyable.
